A market order can execute only when matching orders are available.
Check these common causes:
- Insufficient balance: Your wallet must cover the trade value and fee.
- No liquidity: There are no matching orders on the other side.
- Not enough shares: The available quantity is smaller than your requested order.
- Trading ended: The market expired, entered resolution, or is already resolved.
- Price changed: Another trader filled the available order before your transaction completed.
Try reducing the order size or placing a limit order. A limit order may wait, fill partially, or never fill.
