What is a transaction ID (TxID)?

A transaction ID (TxID) or transaction hash is a unique string of characters given to every transaction that's verified and added to the blockchain. In other words, a TxID is an identification number that labels each transaction on the blockchain. With TxID, you can look up your deposit and withdrawal history.

How to find my TxID?

You can find your TxID from the platform you made a withdrawal. For example, you can find the TxID from Transaction History on AskMagnus through the following steps.

  1. Sign in to your AskMagnus account. Click [Wallet] and select [Manage] from the drop-down menu.

  2. By default, your activity will be displayed from newest to oldest. Here you can see all your deposit and withdrawal history. You can find the TxID beside every activity.

Searching and sorting your transactions

To help you quickly find what you're looking for, the Transactions tab includes multiple filters:

  1. Asset Filter: View only the transactions associated with a specific digital asset (USDC).
  2. Search Transaction: All transactions link to blockchain explorer (https://solscan.io).

Understanding grouped transactions

In your transaction history, you'll often see a single entry containing several linked transactions. The main transaction represents a summary of the operation made, such as selling shares, merging shares, or redeeming shares.

When a transaction includes multiple components, you can review the full details by following these steps:

  1. Click any transaction hash in the table which will open blockchain explorer in new tab to view full transaction details and confirmations.

Example:

When reviewing your transaction history, you may notice that a single Sell Shares action may generate several transfers under the same transaction hash. By viewing the linked transactions, you may also see:

This structure allows you to track in detail while keeping your transaction history clean and easy to navigate.
